Valentine's Day

Josh and I have been laughing since yesterday morning. We could tell that love was in the air. Josh was driving me to work on a very clear blue-skied Valentine's Day morning and we kept seeing Canada Geese in pairs of two. All year long, the birds of a feather flock together but spring is almost here, which means it is the one time they get some privacy from the rest of the family. We thought it was funny that here it was Valentine's Day and we were seeing couples all over town. Bird couples that is. Josh saw a couple of mallards in the Home Depot parking lot yesterday, walking in circles oblivious of the cars swerving to miss them, the male nibbling, trying to get the female's attention. Josh saw a couple of white geese together too. Like I said, love must be in the air. :)
