A Day of Rest

Josh and I always look forward to go to church Sunday mornings - especially when we are home for a visit. CrossPoint is our home church and it is always so refreshing to see those familiar faces we miss so much. Tradition has it that lunch with Mark & Karen always follows church. Mom & Dad joined us too and we hung out had such great laughs. I treasure the memories of our lunches together.
We finished our day at home relaxing together, playing pinochle. Ah, Josh and Mom won the first game but watch out you two - we are sure to win the next two games! Oh, in the evening, we stopped by to see Ralph and Laura. I got a hug from Laura - one I have been waiting a year to get (gosh I miss that girl). Ralph still talks about the strong bond he and Dave have - even 3 years after our wedding. Good times. Good times...
